Walking in a Woodside Wonderland
Take A Walk Through Woodside Park...
I’ve lived in Woodside Park for 11 years now and as each year passes I feel as though it just keeps getting more and more stunning. It’s a beautiful walkable neighborhood, particularly in the Spring. On my daily walk, I always make sure to direct my route down my two favorite streets – Noyes Drive and Woodside Parkway.
The stately tree canopy (a part of Maryland’s “Tree-mendous” program) as well as the blooming dogwoods, clusters of hosta lilies, sweet smelling viburnum, cascading trails of phlox and eye catching azaleas are absolutely magazine worthy – or in these days I should say, Pinterest worthy. I collect wonderful ideas on what to plant next in my garden from these daily walks so if you need help, I highly recommend touring here for inspiration!
It’s not just the gardens that catch my eye but the varied architecture too. Situated on deep wooded lots you’ll find something for everyone. Grand colonials, tudors, stone front homes, bungalows, cape cods and even a few Spanish style homes line the streets as eye candy. I love the craftsmanship of the original builders and how, over time, homeowners have stayed true to the design as they modernize their property. The love and consideration put into Woodside homes and gardens is truly impressive. It's no wonder that homes for sale in Woodside are highly sought-after!
